perfectly imperfect.: Paris day 3

Day 3 (25/09/2010)

So we took a 2 hour train ride at St Pancras train station to Paris. The first impression of paris was,.. bad. the people there weren't as "white" as i expected. the place smells and there was litter everywhere. loads of gypsies and black people tho. but a little while after that, it was getting better because we checked in to our awesome hotel with the perfect view of Eiffel Tower!

and aaaaah. smell the fresh air of Paris, NOT. it was so hot with the sun shinning SO BRIGHTLY!!

had our lunch OMGGGOSH SO FRIGGIN DELICIOUS!

I love the baguettes served all over paris. seriously, i could just eat em for my lunch and dinner.

but what's the point when you have ALL THESE:

Cabonara pasta with bacon.

Roasted chicken with mash potatoes (BEST EVER MASH POTATOES!!)

and our funny waiter ;D

after lunch, we went up the TOWER. we thought it was really near to our restaurant but BOY WERE WE WRONG! we had exactly 10 minutes to RUN from one end to another. even DAD ran! guess who was ahead leading? DAD! and aunty catharine of course! haha. so much for being YOUNG AND ATHLETIC ;D

the cable stopped halfway through, cuz we needed to queue up AGAIN for the second elevator that'll bring us to the peak of Eiffel Tower.

love this picture. looked like God's ray from the heavens. rofffffl.

at the top of Eiffel Tower. the wind was SOO DAMN STRONG it ruined 3/4 of the pictures taken. GAHHH.

and back down, you'll see weird people with weird poses trying to fit the whole eiffle tower into their tiny picture.

but we managed to do it WITH STYLEE :D
