i had to use the wifi in starbucks to post this. wth.
I’ve just moved into my hostel. The air-con’s on 24/7 hahaha! (well, not when I’m out.)
My roommate is an Indonesian [Chinese, I think?] but she won’t be here until next week cuz she’s back home in Indonesia now. When I got in the room, I had a huge shock. SHE’S A TVXQ FAN! The number of posters on her wall... Gosh.
cupboards. hers is with the jaejoong poster. lols!
oh my kneee.
Everything here’s fine. Though it’s difficult to make new friends. Maybe when class starts?
My housemates are always busy with their stuff so it’s hard to me to make friends or whatsoever. So here I am, in my own room, with a laptop that can’t go online cuz I need to wait for another 2 more days (for the sunway thingi to register.. or something?). The only communication I have with the outside world is my cell phone. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I feel lonely.
I went to campus alone today feeling like a lost bird. Went to the cafeteria to have my breakfast and everyone seems to know each other. I didn’t know how the “buying-food-system” works. I didn’t know where the toilet was. I could only ask the Indonesian workers working in the campus.
You know those noobs you see in the movies, sitting all alone at a corner table eating, yeah. That was practically what I did today. God you don’t know how I wish I had friends now.
Everyone’s so big and tall. The girls here look really stuck-up. (But I’m thankful my housemates aren’t really).
I slept at 9PM yesterday. Darn early. Aunty Catharine called at 11 PM thinking I was still awake. She got a shock when I told her I was half sleeping. And oh, today was the first time I folded my own comforter and mopped my own floor. I took for granted the easy life I used to have back home. I’m not complaining or anything, just trying to suit myself to the new environment here.
I chose this life, and I’m not regretting it. Yet.
